Robert C. Serra is a finance executive who brings institutional-grade financial leadership to owner-led businesses. Mr. Serra has led financial reporting and strategic operational execution across 20+ subsidiaries for a publicly traded international company generating $250M in annual revenue, overseen the closing of more than $850M in CMBS, agency, and balance sheet financing, and directed the financial workstreams behind multiple mergers and acquisitions.

As U.S. Business Controller for ADDvise Group AB, Mr. Serra led financial reporting under both GAAP and IFRS, reported directly to the Chairman of the Americas, and oversaw the operational and financial performance of the firm's subsidiaries in the lab and healthcare sectors. He managed the full financial lifecycle of M&A activity, from due diligence and post-acquisition integration to earnout structuring and the evaluation of potential acquisitions across the U.S. and South America. In addition, Mr. Serra established KPI dashboards that guided executive strategy and streamlined month-end close to improve speed and accuracy.

Mr. Serra's expertise in structured finance runs equally deep. As Director for Black Bear Asset Management, he led the sourcing and execution of structured debt and equity transactions. He has structured capital across first mortgages, mezzanine debt, and preferred equity, and built the financial models (IRR, equity multiples, DSCR, and promote structures) driving investment decisions in real estate and other asset classes.

Complimenting Mr. Serra's financial depth is his hands-on operational leadership and execution across both B2B and consumer markets. Mr. Serra has led the growth and launch of various industrial and consumer products across U.S. and European markets, negotiated commercial agreements and B2B partnerships with major distribution and retail partners, and directed regulatory compliance and cross-functional execution.
